Low Emissivity Glass
Low Emissivity Glass, commonly referred to as ‘Low E’, is a type of glass either manufactured on-line or post processed with a variety of metallic gases fused to one surface of the glass. This metallic coating provides improved thermal insulation performance, which has a reduced amount of heat transfer when compared to ordinary glass .
Low Emissivity Glass maintains the heat generated indoors in winter, and significantly reduces the amount of heat transfer from outside in summer. This reduces energy costs and increases the energy efficiency of your home or office.
